The Personal Research Video Game blogs
- At this point, each of you has a specific video game that you are doing research on. You want to consider the game on many levels. Including but not limited to the following:

* Game Play

* Game Stlye

* Game Aestetic

* Fun factor

* Plot Storyline

* Technology/Systems the game appeared on

* Programmers / Game Company(s)

* Year the game was created and context in which it was created (ie. who was president, what major world events were taking place, what was the style/fashion of the time, popular movies, ect..)

* Context of an average individual within society while playing the game (see above)

* Places the game or it's icons appear in society outside of game culture (culture recycling)

- You need to make at least 3 posts a week to your personal video game blog. This is part of the research for this class. You need to search out information, site references and links for images, videos and information you find. You need to write thoughtful reflections on your finds.

- Get your personal research video game blogs connected to the class blog today.

* We also need to define our database terms

Welcome!

This is the class blog!

It is the focal point for all of our research and all information we collect will be connected to this page.

I will update this site within 24 hours of class. You should check this blog frequently, it is part of the participation grade!

In class today

Did you pick your 3 games?

We need to make our initial blogs! You will each need a personal research blog which will be based on your specific game. We will then need a blog for each game system we review. This includes:

* Oldschool Handheld Games
* ATARI
* Magnavox Odyssey
* NES Nintendo Entertainment System
* SEGA GENESIS
* Super Nintendo
+ more as we go
